who am i?

Hi, I’m Chynna.

I’m a licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher, and movement artist offering massage and bodywork that fosters connection—both within the body and with the self.

My approach blends clinical training with intuitive care; honoring the structural, emotional, and energetic layers of human experience.

Each session is tailored to your needs & goals for that day—whether you’re seeking bodywork for injury recovery, stress regulation, deepening your connection to your body through self care, or simply needing space to rest and reset.

Before becoming a bodyworker, I spent over a decade in the hospitality industry—leading teams and co-creating spaces of intention and connection. That work was deeply driven by the desire to be in service to others, and I chose to realign my career toward serving others in a more embodied and meaningful way. This ethos now guides my massage practice, which is grounded in responsive, person-centered care—rooted in presence, respect, and honoring each individual’s unique journey.

Movement has always been central to my life—through dance, fire and flow arts, aerial arts, yoga, and outdoor adventures. This lifelong passion for movement ultimately led me to become a bodyworker. Movement is a powerful tool for healing. With techniques involving breath, guided somatics, passive mobilization, or strength-based practices, reconnecting with the body in motion can help deepen body awareness. Movement may be woven into sessions and will always be guided by respect for your body’s wisdom and your personal experience.

My practice of massage and bodywork is rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and care.

I welcome anyone seeking to feel more connected and at ease in their bodies. Wherever you are on your journey, my goal is to meet you with openness and support, working together to help you feel more grounded and at home in yourself.

what to expect

    • Please arrive clean, sober, and ready to be present in your body.

    • If you are sick or contagious, please reach out as soon as possible to reschedule — there is no fee for rescheduling due to illness

    • If you're a first-time client, please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to complete intake paperwork and get settled before your session

    • If you have any accessibility needs or requests, I welcome that conversation in advance

  • I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

    • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a 75% charge of the session fee.

    • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or a no-show, will be charged the full session fee.

This policy helps support the sustainability of my business and ensures I can continue offering consistent care to all clients. I understand that life happens—emergencies and unforeseen circumstances will always be considered with compassion on a case-by-case basis

  • If you arrive late, your session time may need to be shortened. You will still be responsible for the full session fee. Timeliness helps me provide the best possible care to you and others.

  • Massage therapy is a collaborative process. Before each session, we’ll discuss your goals, needs, and any relevant health history so I can offer care that is safe, effective, and aligned with your intentions. You always have the right to give or withdraw consent at any time during our time together.

By booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

    • Massage therapy is intended to support physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. It is not a substitute for medical care and I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

    • You will communicate clearly with me about your comfort levels, any pain or discomfort, and your preferences during the session—including pressure, temperature, positioning, or touch.
You understand that professional boundaries will be maintained at all times, and any inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate end of the session, with full payment still required.

    • You agree to share accurate and updated health information, including any changes to medications, injuries, or conditions that could affect treatment.

    • You are free to ask questions about any aspect of the session or your care. I will always aim to provide clarity and work in partnership with you.

This practice is built on mutual trust, respect, and communication. Thank you for being an active participant in your own embodiment and for allowing me to support you on that path

  • A credit card is required to book your appointment
You will not be charged until the time of your appointment, unless late cancellation or no-show fees apply

Full payment is due at the time of service.

I accept cash, Zelle, or Venmo at no extra fee

Massage therapy is both my passion and my primary livelihood, and your timely payment helps me continue offering this work sustainably.

If you need to discuss payment flexibility or a one-time adjustment, I’m happy to talk.

I am also open to trades & sliding scale options. Please reach out to me to work something out

  • I do not accept insurance at this time, but you can find me on the schedule at Unravel Therapeutics on Tuesdays & Wednesday and they accept most types of insurance.

  • Please reschedule if you’re feeling unwell—especially if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, or unexpected fatigue. If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19, wait at least 5 days from symptom onset or your test date (whichever is first), and be fever-free for 24 hours before rebooking.

If you’ve been exposed to someone with COVID-19, let me know—we’ll assess together whether it’s safe to proceed.

The treatment space is thoroughly cleaned between sessions. Masks are optional and available upon request—I’m happy to wear one if you prefer.

Thank you for helping create a safer space for us all.

  • I recommend parking in front of Cafetal Quilombo. The office door is street level facing 15th Ave S, maroon door on the left. Please knock to be let in
